UP Police SI, Platoon Commander Selection Process
The UP Police SI Recruitment 2026 Selection Process has the following stages through which the candidates are selected for the posts –
- Written Exam
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Document Verification
- Medical Test
UP Police SI Exam Pattern
The UP Police SI Written Examination is conducted as an online / offline OMR based test consisting of objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Depending on the post, candidates answer either 160 questions in 2 hour.
- Each correct question carries 2.5 marks.
- There is no negative marking for the UP SI written test.
- The exam will be for 2 hours.
- Candidates who fail to obtain 35 % marks in each subject and 50 % marks in total in the written examination will not be eligible for the next round.
