Haryana Police Constable Posts 2026 Selection Process
Haryana Staff Selection Commission shall invite adequate number of candidates on the basis of merit obtained by them in Common Eligibility Test (CET), for Physical Measurement Test and then for Physical Screening Test both of which shall be of qualifying nature only.
Thereafter, the qualified candidates in PMT & PET will have to appear for the Knowledge Test of 97 marks. Finally, the names of successful candidates in the order of merit on the basis of aggregate marks achieved by the candidates in (Knowledge Test + Additional Weightage for NCC ) shall be arranged by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission equal to the total number of vacancies for each category separately. Thus, the selection process has the following stages –
- Merit List based on HSSC CET Score.
- Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
- Physical Screening Test (PST)
- Knowledge Test (Weightage = 97 marks)
- NCC Holders (maximum 03 marks)

HSSC Police Constable Physical Measurement Test (PMT) Details
The first stage of selection will be PMT or Physical Measurement Test. Candidates will be allotted no marks based on the physical standards. Haryana Police Constable Knowledge Test Details
All these candidates who qualify in the Physical Screening Test (PST) will be eligible to appear for the knowledge test. The knowledge test shall be of only 97 marks. The knowledge test shall be of objective type having Hundred (100) multiple choice questions of 0.97 marks each with no negative mark for wrong answer.
