AIIMS NORCET 9 Examination Pattern Importance
AIIMS NORCET or Nursing Officer Common Eligibility Test is a multi stage examination which the AIIMS Examination Section will conduct in two successive stages – Preliminary and Main. The NORCET Preliminary stage is a qualifying examination where a candidate who qualifies in the test will be eligible to appear in the NORCET Main Exam. Candidates may note that the AIIMS Authority will not take into account the NORCET Preliminary Score for deciding Merit/ Rank for final selection.
As per the official notification, the Selection of Nursing Officer in AIIMS will be in order of merit as per the NORCET Main Score in any AIIMS/Hospital. Therefore, candidates in order to fulfil their dream must prepare as per the existing exam scheme.

AIIMS NORCET 9 Preliminary Examination Scheme
The NORCET Preliminary stage is the fist stage of the selection. The exam is qualifying in nature and on qualifying the same, the candidates will be eligible to appear in Stage II: NORCET Main. The Preliminary Examination is the screening stage and the NORCET Preliminary is qualifying in nature and AIIMS shall not consider its score to decide Merit/ Rank for final selection.
