The MPESB Police SI Prelims Examination is an MCQ based examination which shall be qualifying in nature only with no weightage in the merit of the final selection. There shall be no negative marks in the test for wrong answer. The exam will be of 100 marks for 2 hour duration. MP Police SI Mains Exam Pattern 2026
Qualified candidates in the MP Police SI Prelims Examination will be called for the Mains Examination. Based on the percentile score in the Prelims Examination, candidates equal to 10 times of category wise vacancies will be called for the Mains Examination. The MP Police SI Mains Exam has two paper on General Studies – GS Paper 1 & GS Paper 2. Candidates (up to 3 times of vacancies) on clearing the Mains Examination will be called for the Physical Test. The Physical Test will have Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Endurance Test (PET). In the PMT, the candidates physical standards will be checked before appointment, however in the PET, the candidates have to participate in the events and have to score at least 30% marks to qualify.
