SAIL MT Recruitment 2025 : Eligibility Criteria

Parameter	SAIL MT Eligibility
Age as on 05/12/2025	Minimum age limit: 18 Years Maximum age limit: 28 Years; Age relaxation is applicable as per the Govt rules in force.
Qualification	Degree in Engineering with 65% marks in any of the seven (7) Engineering Disciplines of Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical and Metallurgy or its equivalent. The SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Departmental Candidates having Engineering Degree in the required disciplines with 55% marks (average of all semesters) shall be eligible to apply.

Management Trainee (Technical)

Candidates selected as Management Trainees (Technical) will be placed on training for one year. During the training, the candidate will be offered Basic Pay of ₹ 50,000/- p.m. in the pay scale of ₹ 50000-160000/-. On successful completion of training of one year, the Management Trainees (Technical) will be designated as Assistant Manager in E1 grade and placed in the scale of pay of ₹ 60000-180000/- which works out to be be approximately Rs. 16-17 Lakhs per annum.
