UGC NET December Admit Card 2025: ugcnet.nta.ac.in National Testing Agency (NTA) UGC NET Admit Card 2025 for the December Cycle Examination 2025 is available from 28th December 2025. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct UGC – NET December 2025 Examination for 85 subjects in Computer Based Test (CBT), mode at different cities across the country from 31 December 2025 to 07 January 2026. The applicants have already been intimated about the city and date of examination. Hence, they can download their Admit Card of UGC NET December 2025 Examination (using Application No. and Date of Birth) along with the undertaking from the website https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in/ and go through the instructions contained therein. | Educational Qualification | The UR / EWS candidates with at least 55% marks in Master’s Degree or equivalent recognized by UGC . The OBC (NCL) / SC/ ST/ PwD/ Third gender category candidates with at least 50% marks. Candidates who are pursuing their Master’s degree and whose result is still awaited can also apply. |

UGC NET Selection Process
The UGC-NET is a Test which determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for ‘Assistant Professor’ as well as ‘Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor’ in Indian Universities and Colleges. Awarding of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and/ or Eligibility for Assistant Professorship depends on the aggregate performance of the candidate in Paper-I and Paper-II of UGC-NET. Thus the selection process has the following stages –
